Information We Collect
GoKids collects minimal data necessary to provide our service. This includes: account information (email, name), child profiles (first name only, no personal identification), task and reward data, and app usage analytics. We do NOT collect location data, contacts, photos, or any sensitive personal information from children.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to provide and improve the GoKids experience. We use it to: sync your tasks and rewards across devices, provide progress reports, send task reminders (if enabled), and improve app performance. We never sell your data to third parties.
Children's Privacy (COPPA)
GoKids is designed for use by parents with their children. We comply with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act). We do not collect personal information directly from children. All child data is managed through the parent's account. Child profiles use first names only — no email, phone, or identifiable information is stored.
Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data. All data is transmitted via HTTPS, stored in secured cloud infrastructure, and access is restricted to authorized systems only.
Third-Party Services
GoKids uses Firebase (Google) for authentication and data storage, and anonymous analytics to improve the app. These services have their own privacy policies. We do not share your personal data with advertisers.
Your Rights
You can: access, modify, or delete your data at any time through the app settings. Request a complete data export. Delete your account and all associated data. Contact us with any privacy concerns.
